27 Undead Priest

I know, why am I posting this on the tanking forum right? But after reading countless debate threads between healers about which healers are the most powerful right now, it occurred to me that we really have the wrong perspective on the whole matter. What we find fun or easy to play does not necessarily translate to a fun and easy game for those people who rely most on our heals - the tanks.

So from your perspective tanks, which healing class is the best and which is the worst? Who is super slow in dungeons and constantly needing to drink? Who can heal through the damage spikes? Who makes you shudder when you see their portrait pop up upon loading an instance?

Spill the beans!

For almost half a century, Master Zhou has been successfully diagnosing and treating disease with his powerful Qi Gong skills and techniques, as a Medical Intuitive. He specializes in diagnosing and treating "undiagnosable" or mystery illnesses, and is known as "The Healer's Healer." His traditional Medical Qi Gong treatment, which differs from Western medical therapy, is non-invasive (no injections, no surgery) and uses neither instruments, medications, nor drugs.

Master Zhou's Qi Gong therapy combines Chinese massage, pressure on the body's acupuncture points with the power of Qi, and the simple radiating of Qi--which is usually felt as heat--without him actually touching the body. Combining these methods effectively, Master Zhou treats patients holistically and is known for producing tangible therapeutic benefits. His treatments are restorative, rejuventating, invigorating, illuminating, deeply   healing and highly energizing.

--And much more.

*For those with chronic conditions, injuries or complex, ongoing symptoms--more than one treatment is suggested.
In our experience, it is recommended that if you are working with a chronic or complex condition or injury, booking a series of minimum 3 consecutive treatments is the most effective method to creating a lasting shift and/or improvement in your current health, based upon the way the Qi/energy from his treatments works within the body. If needed, Master Zhou will consult with you during your appointment regarding this, if you inquire. He will also tell you if fewer treatments are needed, based on your inquiry.

If you have been treated by Master Zhou before and know that you would like or will need a series of treatments, it is highly recommended that you book them all at once, in advance--or you may miss out, due to his full schedule. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to receive a treatment from a true master.

All of Master Zhou's healing treatments are payable by cash or check only, non-negotiable. Healing treatments and/or Martial Arts classes are NOT available on a donation, pay-what-you-can, exchange or volunteer basis.

*Disclaimer: Individual results from treatments may vary. Master Zhou makes no promises or guarantees that any or all diseases and/or afflictions will be completely healed or cured by his treatments. All treatments are non-refundable.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Let Master Zhou know if there is anything specific you would like him to focus on, as the treatment begins. As per Chinese tradition, Master Zhou will not offer unsolicited guidance or information--if you have specific questions, you must ask them and he will answer.

During periods of the treatment, you may experience moments of intense heat in specific, isolated areas, as Master Zhou transfers Qi from his hands into your body, in order to activate, open, cleanse, clear, release, re-energize, recharge, heal or shift stagnant areas. It is safe, and your skin is protected. The heat you are feeling is generated through the potent amount of Qi, life-force energy, he is emitting, which transmutes into heat that he can control at will. The Qi enters your body through the heat. It is not a heating pad, hot stones, nor is it a chemical solution of any sort. This has been verified through extensive scientific testing of Master Zhou's method over the past several decades. You can witness some of this documentation of his "Hands of Heat" on The History Channel's "Stan Lee's Superhumans," as well as "Ripley's Believe it Or Not" and "That's Incredible."

Hey, So I'm looking to have a healer as a 2nd or 3rd main and I have all classes near 90 or 100. I am would like to know what the best healing class/spec is in 6.2. Something that's not boring as well. Please don't include druids and shamans as I don't like those healing classes. Priest, pala, and monk which is the class raids would like to have most?

Disc priests are top but generally u don't want more then 1 in small groups 2 for larger groups. Because they can't power word shield the same target. When u add more they become less and less effective. Luckily with priest if u have to many disc u can switch holy.

Priests and Paladins are always in demand. A disc priest is a must-have and I don't know of any top guilds that don't run paladins.

I gotta say though, paladins of all sorts have been pretty plentiful lately. It seems that more often then not, I am in a group where pallies are covering all three roles. We're cavalier about it, but there is some loot competition to be had.

A priest is the ultimate healing class. They have two specs for it! If you aren't interested in not healing on this character, make it a priest.

A discipline priest uses shields to block incoming damage. They take the bite off of attacks on high-health targets and give other healers extra time to deliver heals to a low-health target. They also have some capable healing abilities themselves, but the shields are the major ones. Any serious group will want to have a disc priest, but only one as they don't tend to work well with other disc priests.

Holy priests are your traditional healers. When you think generally of "healer," a holy priest is what appears in your mind. They have a large toolkit full of single-targets, AOEs, fast and slow casts, group cleanses, etc. and are versatile enough to deal with any situation that comes their way.

Personally, when I made my Pally I had no idea what I wanted to do at endgame, except "not dps." Paladin is one of three classes than can do all three roles. The downside is that you don't really have a choice in spec for your role. Unlike mages for example, with three different ways to do dps, you are either dpsing in ret or you aren't dpsing.

Holy Paladins are exceptional single-target healers. Our beacons ensure a constant stream of healing on the tanks or other MVP targets. Our toolkit is a bit more focused on single-target, so you may find yourself overwhelmed when AoE damage is out and about. Personally I like to let the other class healers mitigate that while I focus on saving anyone that falls through the cracks or fails their mechanic. We have excellent hands that in a pinch, can reduce or eliminate incoming damage, free someone from a snare, or bump them up to full should they be near death. Most groups will want an H Pal for the tank beacons, Hand of Sacrifice, and Devotion Aura.

You specified something that's not boring, so I'm not sure you should go with Disc.

Disc is fun in that you crush meters and make other healers feel like they are insignificant, but you're really just spamming 2-3 buttons for hours on end.

I've never played Pally, but they seem slightly more interesting and still the second strongest healer.

I play a MW Monk. It's very fun with the way the healing works and the things you have to consider, but at the end of the day you're working twice as hard as the aforementioned specs for lesser results.

mw's are garbage in 5 mans, our 2-4 target healing is really subpar, but once you get 20+ people in a raid, uplift is love, uplift is life.

But just as /u/Chezicrator said, MW's work twice as hard just to keep up, while spending 3-4x the mana, but that's what shit tons of spirit and a good crit rating is for, get drunk off mana tea!
